1937 Chevrolet Businessman Coupe Restoration Project 12 years ago I saw this old car sitting in Danny Yonder's Auto Sales in Nancy, Kentucky. After seeing that Ford Coupe in the ZZTop video, I wanted a car like that! To make a long story short, I didn't know what I was looking at or what I was getting into but it was one of those cool old cars! ... so this is my project and what I've experienced, this might help sombody that wants to build a car or just like to look at the pictures... |

| Here it is on the lot. The garage on the top left is gone. After this picture, while cleaning grease off the floor with brooms and gas sombody dropped a wrench. It killed 3 workers...always use your head while working on your car and put safety first, accidents happen fast. | I drove it from the lot to the cabin down some country roads, 2 farmers on a hill rubber necked for a mile. I don't know if it was the car or the open headers! After that it never started again and I towed it to Cincy to begin... | |||||||
| The mice ate most of the purple button-tuck velour. The floating seats sat on 2x4's, look...the original guages and steering column. | It sported the1 cylinder brake system. The V8 had an offenhouser manifold which I was going to use on the new motor. | |||||||
